DIY Original Christmas Card with EM ART

In this guide, we will show you how to easily and quickly create a unique Christmas card using designer paper and decorative elements. Follow the steps and add your personal touch to your creation!

Step 1: Preparing the Materials

Before you begin, gather the necessary materials:

Cardstock – choose a color and texture suitable for the card base.
Designer paper – with Christmas motifs for an extra festive atmosphere.
Christmas ribbon – for a final accent.
Half-sphere pearls – for sparkle and elegance.
Decorative chipboard elements – with a Christmas theme.
Double-sided tape – for easy and precise attachment.
Silicone glue – for a stronger fixation of the elements.

Step 2: Preparing the Base

Measure the desired height (e.g., 15 cm for a square shape).
Carefully cut the cardstock with scissors or a craft knife.
Fold it in half to form the base of the card.

Step 3: Decorating with Designer Paper

Cut two pieces of designer paper slightly smaller than the base to create a stylish frame.
Optionally, use a border punch for extra decorative appeal.
Attach the paper to the cardstock with double-sided tape, ensuring it is centered and smoothly adhered.

Step 4: Adding a Christmas Ribbon

Choose a ribbon in a contrasting color or with a festive motif.
Measure and cut the required length.
Glue it across the center of the card, making sure it is evenly positioned.

Step 5: Central Element

Cut a circle with a diameter of about 9 cm from the paper.
Glue it in the center of the card to create a focal point.

Step 6: Decorating with Pearls

Select suitable pearls that complement the design.
Using cold silicone glue, attach them around the central element – arranged symmetrically or scattered for a more casual effect.
