Easter Decoration: DIY Easter Carrot with EM ART Creativity

Introduction

Hello! Today in EM ART Creativity, we will show you how to make an Easter decoration. Follow our steps to create a unique decoration for your home.

Required Materials

  • Twine
  • Decorative carrots
  • Burlap
  • Acrylic paint
  • Decorative artificial grass and leaves
  • Cardboard
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue

Step 1: Making a Template

The first thing you need to do is trace a carrot template with a pencil on a thicker piece of cardboard. The template should be large enough to create an impressive decoration. Once you’ve drawn the carrot, use scissors to cut it out. This will be the base for your decoration.

Step 2: Wrapping with Twine

Begin wrapping the twine around the cardboard from the top, gradually covering the entire carrot, using hot glue occasionally to secure the twine firmly.

Step 3: Decorating with Greenery

After covering the whole carrot with twine, take the green burlap and glue it to the top of the carrot. This will give the decoration a more natural look. Make a small bouquet of decorative twigs and leaves, and wrap thin wire around the stems to hold them together. Glue the ready greenery to the inside of the burlap to form the carrot’s leaves.

Step 4: Finishing Touches

Finally, cut a piece of twine and tie it around the burlap to form the top of the carrot. If you like, you can add more decorative elements by tying two smaller decorative carrots to each end of the twine bow. You can pre-paint them orange for a brighter effect.

Conclusion

Your Easter decoration is ready! You can add a loop at the back to hang it on the wall. We hope you enjoyed this easy and fun idea. If our video was helpful, don’t forget to give it a like, subscribe to the channel, and click the notification bell. See you soon!
