Welcome to the wonderful world of adhesives. Keep reading to learn how to stick things together without using fasteners, hardware, stitches, etc.
When it comes to glue, we know that versatility is key. The right adhesive lets you get creative and make your project truly work with the materials you have on hand.
When it comes to applying glue, there are some amazing tools to make the job easier.
But which tool is best to control the flow and spread of each type of glue?
When choosing an adhesive applicator, you need to consider three things: the density of your glue, the amount you need to apply to your surfaces, and the open time of the glue you’re working with.
For example, if you have a thick glue that needs to be applied in a precise line, consider using a syringe with a tip diameter that matches the desired glue bead size.
On the other hand, if you have a liquidy glue that needs to be applied over a large surface, sometimes using a rag or cloth is the best way to spread the glue.
In a perfect world, you would be able to apply glue to something, stick it to whatever you need, and it would immediately set. You wouldn’t have to hold parts in place while the glue hardens to ensure your components don’t slip. Alas, not all glues are created equal, and some adhesives will require some clamping and fastening to ensure proper adhesion.
Some glues require holding the objects you are sticking together in place for some time.
Be creative with what you use to hold your parts together. If your parts need to be propped up in a certain way while sticking, try making a custom crutch out of aluminum foil.
You can even try using a cloth to sculpt and tape it in place to create a form supported during curing. Use your imagination!
Nearly every cure time for any glue is affected by ambient temperature and humidity. While it may be hard to control temperature, we can certainly create a micro dry environment for small parts to cure.
Take a small basket from a plastic organizer (or a bin the size of the pieces you are trying to glue), and fill the bottom with rice grains. Dry rice grains will help absorb moisture from the air and speed up the bonding of the components.
Rice also works as a good way to support pieces during long curing times. You can place parts in the rice grains and let them set for days at a time.
Now for the real question: what makes the glue stick? You might be surprised to hear that there’s no one simple answer – but that’s not so surprising when you consider how many different types of glue there are.
For each type of adhesive and every surface we apply it to, scientists believe a mix of factors work together to hold the parts firmly in place. But here’s the truth: no one knows exactly how it works every time.

The screw head is inserted into the screw, at which point turning the screwdriver will tighten or loosen the screw. While you are probably familiar with the basic screwdriver design, you may be surprised by our selections, hand-picked and tailored to your needs.
Archaeological evidence shows that screwdrivers have existed since the Middle Ages. There are examples of screwdrivers used in both Germany and France in the 15th century. After that, screwdrivers made their way to nearly every country.
Different screwdrivers are designed with various types of handles. Some screwdrivers have a wooden handle, while others have a metal one. You can even find screwdrivers with a plastic handle. The handle is the long, relatively wide part of the screwdriver that you hold when using the tool to install or remove a screw.
Adjustable pliers, also called channel or groove-lock pliers, allow you to greatly expand the distance between the nose heads to fit the object you’re working on. Locking pliers, colloquially referred to as "vice grips," are also adjustable to some degree but feature the additional ability to lock in place, allowing you to clamp them onto something and then let go without the pliers falling off.
For most production companies, the right display equipment is a must for working efficiently, safely, and affordably. Customized displays take it a step further, adding a unique edge. EM ART offers a variety of display solutions to showcase your creations at their best.

Life today is far from peaceful. We’re always juggling urgent tasks, stress, and the weight of news around us.
Adding life’s inevitable challenges, health concerns, and constant rushing can make life feel overwhelming. But one remedy for this is a simple joy: a favorite hobby. What hobbies await, and why are they essential?
People of all ages and backgrounds enjoy a huge range of hobbies, but one thing is certain—hobbies enrich our lives, adding diversity, excitement, and balance.
A beloved activity lets you unwind, forget work stress, and enjoy your free time with purpose. Hobbies bring peace of mind, benefiting both mental well-being.
Studies show hobby enthusiasts are often less prone to health issues like heart conditions, anxiety, depression, and stress disorders. They shift from negative to positive thinking more easily and approach life with optimism.
These individuals embrace their free time, knowing exactly how they’ll fill it with joy. A hobby that brings lasting pleasure will always generate positivity, especially when friends and family support and celebrate these passions.
Many talents reveal themselves in childhood, and most kids naturally start collecting something—stamps, foreign coins, candy wrappers, or toy collections.
Perhaps that’s why children seem so cheerful and carefree. A person who lacks a hobby can often appear restless, while those with a passion, whether it’s scrapbooking, crafting, or jewelry making, find balance and joy through their chosen pastime.
