DIY Idea for a Pencil Holder Made of EVA Foam with Flowers

Materials Needed

• EVA foam sheets in several different colors: pink, purple, yellow, white, and green (you can play with the colors, they don’t have to be exactly these)
• 1 tin can
• Universal glue
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Classic Craft Punch (hole punch)
• Marker or highlighter (if you want to add extra details)
• Template for cutting out the lining and decorations for the pencil holder

How to Make It?

Preparation

• Before you start, choose several flower templates, save them on your computer, print them out, and cut them out;
• Carefully remove the label from the tin can, wash it well with soap, and dry it thoroughly so the elements can stick well;

Stebs:

1. Measure and Cut: Measure the can’s height and circumference. Cut two rectangles from pink EVA foam and a pink circle for the can’s bottom.

2. Apply Templates: Trace and cut out flower shapes from purple and white foam and leaf shapes from green foam.

3. Assemble Flowers: Glue the purple and white flowers onto the can, alternating them for an interwoven effect. Add leaves and stamens using a punch.
